Monique Lhuillier 2013 Bridal Collection

Every now and then I like to go to the leading wedding gown designer's websites and gawk over the beautiful gowns that they have, once again, created. I would never expect to be disappointed by any one of the greatest designers, but Monique Lhuiller never seems to fail her fans and creates whimsical gowns fit for brides of many styles - of course the price tag may get in the way at times.

The Spring 2013 Bridal Collection is magical. From ball gowns to trumpet-style gowns, it is hard to pick a favorite, and thankfully, I'm not in a position where I need to. The collection includes many textures. We see lace, chiffon, bows, sparkle, frills, capped sleeve, long sleeved - I can go on and on.

I've posted a few of my favorites and I encourage you to check out the site yourself. Even if these wedding gowns may not be in the average bride's budget, they can give you ideas for what you want your wedding gown to be. We're lucky enough to have designers out there that re-create these out-of-budget gowns to fit our wallets!

Jessica Simpson Bridal

Jessica Simpson seems to have it all going on. She's a new mom to a beautiful baby girl and is a soon-to-be bride. And, with this, she is also a fashion designer. From designing clothing, accessories, handbags, shoes and fragrances, as well as being a judge on "Fashion Star", what more could she possibly want to tackle? After all...she is a new mom, so when would she have the time?! Well, it is rumored that this fashion designer is ready to take on the bridal world and I couldn't be more excited! Her engagement to Eric Johnson has inspired Jessica to create a line of bridal gowns of her own. It's something she has always wanted to do and I'm confident that it will be successful. I just can't wait to see what her line holds for all of us! Congrats to Jessica Simpson!

Celebrity Wedding of the Year

Whose wedding proved to be more glamorous? More regal? More classic? More traditional? Whose wedding gets your overall best vote? Everyone has been talking about! Is it Prince William and Princess Catherine? Or, is it Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries?

A must-have for future brides and a great way to share with friends, family, and even strangers, that you are getting married! Kate Spade has created this adorable "I Do" gold necklace and I'm loving it! The best part...it's only $78.00! This would make a great gift for a future bride from her maids.

Paul McDonald & Nikki Reed Engaged!

I'm a huge fan of American Idol! One of my favorite contestants from this past season is Paul McDonald! He brought a Rod Stewart/Tom Petty vibe into the game for me. I just couldn't get enough of his raspy voice and bright white teeth!

I am, however, a little surprised to see that he is now engaged to his Twilight girlfriend, Nikki Reed, after only 2 months of dating.

Nikki showed her new shiny ring off at the MTV Movie Awards. I have to admit, the two seem as though they are genuinely in love with one another. I have to wish these two the best and a lifetime of happiness!

What do you think of quick engagements like Paul and Nikki's? Do you approve?

BLOOMBEADS - Turn Your Bouquet Into Jewelry

This is such a great idea!

Most brides keep their bridal bouquet,  but they never really do anything with it. Some brides may display the dried petals, but Bloombeads will take those petals and create unique, wearable jewelry.

This company designs handmade necklaces, bracelets, rings, cuff links, and much more. Many of the items can be personally engraved too! I learned of this company in my Wedding Planner Magazine and then went to the Bloombeads website. I really recommend checking it out!

I hope this inspires you to turn your bouquet into something you can cherish for many years to come! Be sure to share with your friends!

This is also a great idea for many other milestones!
